So I decided to write a review about a WordPress plugin I have used and I bet at least %50 of people who are about to read this post have searched for a WordPress About Author plugin because I have done my homework and learned a few SEO tricks. Anyways, I’m about to comment on this little plugin I found on the internet. It’s called “WP About Author” and it does the job. However, I had to do a lot of stuff to get it working and at the end I gave up on some stuff.
-What does this wordpress plugin do? This plugin is for those of you who want to have a small box under your posts which contains your name, a quick little biography, a picture of you, and some links to your email and social profiles. You have to enter all the information mentioned in your WordPress profile (in user’s section) and it will automatically show up in its place (well not really in its place.. read on and you’ll know why).
- Installing the plugin was super easy since wordpress does the job for you and you dont have to worry about a thing!
- Activating the plugin is also super easy since you just click on “Activate” link and it will do so!
- Getting the plugin to work though… Its a super confusing thing to do for most of users! Why? READ ON! (gosh why am I yelling lol)
- Here is what I did: I typed all the information in my user profile in WordPress and what I saw was a badly resized picture of mine grabbed from Gravatar along with a white box showing on the left side of the page. My bio was okay and didn’t look too bad. The social icons were supposed to show up one after another in one line but they didn’t. Instead they were each in a separate line as a new paragraph. Links to my social network profiles wouldn’t work properly and etc!
- Here is what I think: Anyways, I’m not saying that this plugin is bad and not suitable for you use. All I’m saying is that this WordPress plugin needs a lot of work to get it working. As a matter of fact, it happens to be the best ‘about author plugin’ for someone who knows how to fix all these problems all by himself/herself. So you need to know how to change html and css codes in order to fix these problems since the developer of this plugin certainly will not help you out in the support area. How do I know? Cause I have posted questions and he has not replied and the only person who is actively helping others to fix these problems is really me 
One Night, Two Movies
So I was bored and I watched two movies tonight… First one was “Jack Reacher” and second one was “Zero Dark Thirty”. All I can say is … GARBAGE!
Jack Reacher was a total crap. This movie was just trying to make a museum of American history all the way. GT Mustang (classic muscle car) and blond girls with Tom Cruse shooting a random bad ass Siberian prisoner called the ZACK (more like the sack lol), pardon my french!
All you see in this movie is an idea of an unbreakable military policeman with his code of ethics. Hes sharp, smart, good looking, strong, can drive a “non-automatic” car (WOAH! lol) who beats bad guys and can get any girl at the bar but he doesn’t lmfao. He saves the world at the end by bringing “so called justice” to a bad bad bad Siberian prisoner lol. Enough of this already…
Then i decided to watch another movie so I can get this crappy movie out of my mind so i picked a pure military movie which has a lot of intelligence agents in it and stuff. Its supposed to be showing a true story about the progress of agents locating O$@M@ and a sketchy mission of taking tango down lol.
So yea pretty much that was all except it had some uncomfortable realities in it. Movie was trying to show that Americans are very sensitive people and they care about each other (but only for each other and no one else…). This is where I disagree with the whole movie. I think for some reason the director or the write of this movie made some of these events on purpose so the outside world just try and see if they can hate the Americans. I have American friends and they are very nice people, caring, funny, and smart people just like all of us.
Don’t get me wrong! There are non-caring, unfunny, dumb people everywhere in every country and in every nation and not just in America. I have seen a lot of them in Iran too. Even in Canada! YES I SAID IT lol I know Canadians are nice and all but sometimes being too nice (fake-nice) just kills me man lol. What I’m trying to say is that just because I didn’t like two movies I shouldn’t judge the whole nation/culture thing! I’m sure a lot of soldiers liked this movie.
Anyways, if you are into military or spy movies go ahead and watch this movie cause you are going to like it a bunch!
I think I should go now. Next post is gonna be interesting for some people.
